Tripp In Trucking safety operations — Williston ND

Safety First, Teamwork Always

Safety isn't a binder on the shelf at Tripp In Trucking. It's how we run jobs, how we hire, and how we get home at night.

How we operate

Oilfield work and heavy haul aren't forgiving. The Bakken adds weather, distance, and tight schedules on top. Our safety culture is built on six principles we don't flex on.

Safe Digging Standards

Every hydrovac job follows ND One Call locate verification. We daylight before we dig — no exceptions, no shortcuts. Strikes don't happen on jobs we run.

DOT-Compliant Operations

DOT 3580580. FMCSA hours-of-service tracked on every driver. Pre-trip inspections, DVIRs, and maintenance logs documented daily. Audited and ready for any roadside.

Pilot Cars & Permitted Moves

Permitted oversize and overweight loads ALWAYS routed through state and county systems before the wheels move. Pilot cars on every move that requires one — we don't push limits.

Cold-Weather Safety

Bakken winters are unforgiving. Heated water systems, winterized fluids, and crews trained to recognize early signs of cold stress. Nobody works in conditions we wouldn't.

Toolbox Talks — Weekly

Every week we run a toolbox talk on a real safety topic. Hydrovac near energized lines. Lowboy load securement. Cold-weather PPE. Real situations, real lessons.

Continuous Training

Driver training, helical pier installation certification, hazmat refreshers, and field-specific oilfield safety. Every crew member is current on what matters for their job.

Toolbox Talks Library

Real safety topics our crews work through. If you find one useful for your own crew, take it. Pass it around. Safer fields are better fields.

Hire safety-driven

Safety culture is the difference between a job done right and a job redone. Call dispatch when you're ready to work with a carrier who puts the field crew first.
